M&M's Drop Cookies

M&M's Drop CookiesA colorful variation of the chocolate chip cookies, these treats are made even more decadent, pretty and cheery with a sprinkling of varied-colored  M&Ms chocolates. Here is an easy from-scratch M&M's Drop Cookies recipe, done in under 30 minutes!

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoons salt
1 cups unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 cup semisweet or milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup M&M's mini baking bits


Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F. Line several baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a larger bowl, beat butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add in eggs and vanilla and mix until incorporated. Beat in flour mixture until blended. Stir in chocolate chips and baking bits.

Drop tablespoonfuls of dough in to prepared baking pans, about 3 inches apart. Bake 9 to 10 minutes, or until cookies are browned at edges and no longer wet-looking in centers.

Let stand on baking pans for 2 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool. Makes 3 dozen cookies.
