Blackberry CrumbleAn easy to whip up dessert that you can prepare up to two days in advance. Here is an easy dessert recipe for Blackberry Crumble.


550 gram(s) (1 1/4lb) blackberries
2  oranges, one segmented; one for zest and juice only
100 gram(s) (3 1/2oz) butter
65 gram(s) (2 1/2oz) caster sugar
100 gram(s) (3 1/2oz) plain flour


Preheat the oven to 220ºC.
In a bowl, mix the berries, orange, zest and juice.
In another bowl, rub together butter, caster sugar and flour using your fingertips, until fine breadcrumbs are formed.
Transfer the fruit mixture in 4 small or 1 large gratin dish and top with the crumble mixture.
Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes until golden.
Serve warm, on its own or with ice cream or custard.
