30 OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
2 cups cold milk
2 pkg. (4 serving size) Chocolate Flavor Instant Pudding & Pie Filling
1 (8 ounce) tub frozen whipped topping, thawed
Pulse Chocolate Sandwich Cookies in a food processor until fine. Add butter and pulse again until well incorporated. Press cookie crumbs onto bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie plate using the bottom of a glass. Refrigerate to set.
Combine milk and dry pudding mixes in a large bowl and beat with wire whisk for 2 minutes. You will end up with a thick mixture.
Spoon 1 1/2 cups of the pudding mixture onto the prepared crust and spread evenly using an offset spatula. Set aside.
Gently fold in half of the whipped topping into the remaining pudding to create a lighter mixture. Spread lighter filling evenly over the darker layer in crust.
Spoon remaining whipped topping over the top of pie. Refrigerate for at least three hours, or until set. Garnish with a dusting of cocoa powder or top top with chocolate shavings before serving. Keep leftovers in the refrigerator.
