These soft and chewy Triple Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies are truly decadent! They are made with three kinds of chocolate (cocoa, semi-sweet chocolate chips and milk chocolate chips) so you won't miss any chocolate flavor in every bite! Plus the whole-grain oats makes them a bit guilt free! But the best about these Triple Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies is that they are a breeze to make!
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. cocoa
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, softened (2 sticks)
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. old-fashioned oats
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. milk chocolate chips
Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl; set aside.
In a larger mixing bowl, combine the butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat at medium speed until creamy, about 2 minutes.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in the flour mixture. Stir in the oats, and then the chocolate chips.
Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 9-11 minutes. They will still look a bit uncooked in the middle but do not overbaked to keep them soft and chewy). Let stand on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before removing from the pan.
Serve these indulgent Triple Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies with a glass of warm milk, tea or coffee.
