Peanut Butter Brownie TruffleAn easy to prepare layered dessert made of peanut butter brownies and regular brownies. Here is a quick and easy dessert recipe for Peanut Butter Brownie Truffle:

Cook Time: 30 minutes
Chilling time: 3 hours
Total Time: 3 hours, 45 minutes
Yield: 12-16 servings

Ingredients:

1 (9" x 9") pan of regular chocolate brownies
1 (9" x 9") pan of peanut butter brownies
1 (3-ounce) package chocolate pudding mix
1 cup milk
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup peanut butter
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 cup chocolate fudge ice cream topping
12 ounces miniature peanut butter cup candies

Procedures:

  • Cut both pans of brownies into 1" cubes; cover and set aside.
  • In medium bowl, combine pudding mix, milk, and 1/4 cup peanut butter; beat until smooth. Cover and chill in the refrigerator.
  • In medium microwave-safe bowl, combine butter with brown sugar; microwave for 1 minute, then stir and microwave for another minute until mixture bubbles. Stir in 1/4 cup peanut butter and set aside.
  • Beat cream with powdered sugar in medium bowl until stiff peaks form. Whisk this into the brown sugar mixture.
  • In large glass trifle bowl, layer both kinds of brownies, chocolate pudding mixture, peanut butter pudding mixture, chocolate fudge sauce, and peanut butter cup candies. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.
