The flavors of chocolate and orange are a perfect combination. This easy dessert recipe for No-Bake Chocolate-Orange Cheesecake combines these ingredients to create an easy to prepare and delicious cheesecake.
1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
2 teaspoons granulated sugar
1 envelope (.25 oz.) unflavored gelatin
2/3 fresh orange juice
2 pkgs. (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels, melted and cooled
1 can (14 oz.) Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped
orange zest for garnish
1. Combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar and butter and press together in ungreased 9-inch spring-form pan to create the crust. Leave aside.
2. Let the gelatin stand in orange juice for 1 minute. Pour the liquid into a small saucepan and warm over low heat, stirring constantly until gelatine is completely dissolved. Remove from heat.
3. Beat the cream cheese and melted chocolate in large mixer bowl until fluffy. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk. Stir in gelatine mixture then fold in whipped cream. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan.
4. Place the pan inside the refrigerator for about 3 hours or until set. Run knife around edge of cheesecake; remove side of spring-form pan. Top with orange zest.
