These Almond Chocolate Chip Cookies are yummy and healthy alternative to your usual chocolate chip cookies. Almond flour (ground almonds) is used instead of all purpose flour giving the cookies that rich nutty flavor. Here is an easy dessert recipe for Almond Chocolate Chip Cookies.
1 cup almond flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoons canola oil
2 Tablespoons agave nectar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup semi-sweet mini chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper or silpat mats.
Whisk together almond flour, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl. In another bowl, whisk together oil, agave and vanilla. Pour wet mixture into dry and stir until blended. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Drop dough by level teaspoonfuls onto prepared baking sheet, 2 inches apart. Bake for 7 to 8 minutes. Cool on pan for 5 minutes before transfering into a rack to cool completely.
